Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Programs

Meet a University of Texas at Tyler Graduate

DeEdra Wright "I wanted to let you know that I've continued to further my education over the last several years and I am a dual certified Acute Care and Family Nurse Practitioner. I will keep up both certifications. I've worked the last 5 years as a hospitalist and recently took on a new position. I'm active with TNP, CNAP, and the local NP association.

More good news, I just completed the Advance Practice tract DNP last week and commencement and convocation are planned this weekend. It seems like yesterday I was going to classes in Palestine for the generic RN program, Dr. Alford was teaching me how to properly wash my hands, and you were taking our pictures on the cubical at Texas Children's!

I wanted to let you know how much you have helped me on this journey and thank you for your mentoring and guidance over the years."

DeEdra Wright, NP Graduate
