Freshman Orientation

The purpose of Freshman Orientation is to enable new students to become competent, self-reliant learners who are devoted to and engaged in their higher education experience.

In support of this mission, Freshman Orientation will inform new students on academic policies and procedures, to help with the academic and social transition into higher education, inform students to make reasoned and well-informed choices, and foster a sense of community by acclimating them to the UT Tyler campus.
