Undergraduate Advising

New and prospective transfer students should schedule an appointment with the Admissions Counselor for the College of Education and Psychology (in the Office of Admissions and Student Records, 903-566-7202). The Admissions Counselor will be happy to review the freshman and sophomore courses that will fulfill the General Education Requirements and to identify any upper level courses that are transferable. Students may transfer a maximum of 64 lower level hours in courses in which the student has earned a grade equivalent of "C" or better. New and transfer students are strongly encouraged to meet with the departmental advisor prior to the enrollment in courses. New and prospective students may meet with the advisor listed below for the initial advisement meeting by calling the department office at (903) 566-7130 or by signing up on the advising schedule on the department office door (HPR 223).
