Student Identification Numbers

To obtain your student identification (SID) number, choose one of the following options:

  • Visit the Office of the Registrar (ADM 221) and bring a photo ID with you.
  • Mail or fax your request and include a copy of your photo ID (your SID number will be mailed to the address on file with the Office of the Registrar unless otherwise indicated on the request).
Please note:  Your SID number can also be found on your acceptance letter from UT Tyler Office of Admissions.

The goal of the office is to respond to written requests within three working days and telephone requests within 48 hours.
