All other information may not be released without written consent of the student. Grades, social security numbers, ethnic backgrounds and student schedules may not be released to anyone other than the student and NEVER over the phone.
Students may have all Directory Information withheld by notifying the Registrar in writing by the Census Date of any semester. Requests for non-disclosure will be honored by the institution until the student notifies the Registrar in writing that Directory Information may be released.
Please Note: Students who have restricted their information will have a notation placed in the student record system, in the privacy field. If this notation (a window shade) is present, no information can be released on that student without further written permission of the student.
Faculty Members, Staff, and Administration all have the privilege and responsibility to protect the educational records in their possession. Access to information is only for legitimate use in completion of responsibilities and job duties as an employee of the University.
