Early Registration Steps

Step 1:
Meet with your academic advisor!
Step 2:
Complete the UT Tyler Registration Form located in this schedule.
Step 3:
Know your PIN number (see below)!
Step 4:
For Campus Connect, log onto www.uttyler.edu/cc/, click on Enter Campus Connect, and follow all guidelines. (See PIN below for your Personal Identification Number.)
Step 5:
Finalize your payment.
Step 6:
Secure parking permits and I.D. cards by last day of late registration.

Important Early Registration Notes

1. PIN NUMBER ––The six digit personal identification number needed for Campus Connect. The initial PIN number for students is the 2-digit birth month and the 4-digit year of the student. For example, if the birthday day is March 14, 1980, the PIN is 031980. You will be required to change your PIN after your first log into the system. Please make note of your PIN after you make the change.
2. REGISTRATION PROBLEMS - Anytime you report a registration problem to the Registrar’s Office, it is important to be specific about the nature of the problem. Problems may occur occasionally with either the system itself, or with your admission file. If there is a system problem, the voice prompt will tell you to please try your call again later. If you experience a problem with the voice prompt that you do not understand, please call (903) 566-7215 during normal business hours, 8 a.m. - 6 p.m., Monday - Thursday and 8 a.m.- 5 p.m, Fridays.

SPECIAL CASES - Registration for some courses (undergraduate courses for graduate credit, credit/noncredit grading, course overloads, etc.) must be completed in the Registrar’s Office. The student is encouraged to complete as much of the registration as possible by using Campus Connect and come to the Registrar’s Office to complete only the special exceptions.

 

The Office of the Registrar is committed to providing accurate, timely, courteous and thorough service to potential students, enrolled students, alumni and the university’s external constituents. The goal of the office is to respond to written requests within three working days and telephone requests within 48 hours. Concerns regarding customer service should be directed to the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at 903.566.7103.
