The Compliance Certification Report is composed of 12 Core Requirements, 53 Comprehensive Standards, and 8 Federal Requirements. The Core Requirements include the basic elements essential for gaining and maintaining accreditation. The Comprehensive Standards set forth standards in the following areas: (1) institutional mission and governance, (2) institutional effectiveness; (3) educational and support programs and faculty qualifications; and (4) resources. The Federal Requirements are required by the U.S. Secretary of Education to establish the eligibility of UT Tyler to participate in various federal programs, including financial aid, research, Title IV compliance, etc.
The Compliance Certification is reviewed by an off-site team. The report and all documentation must be on-line or on a CD.
