Residential students assigned to Ornelas Hall must choose one of these three meal plans:

SPIRIT MEAL PLANS
Residential students assigned to Patriot Village or University Pines must choose any of the above meal plans or one of these three meal plans.

Sales tax rate is 8.25% in Texas.
Dining dollars can be used to purchase food and beverage at any on campus retail food stores. These dollars expire at the end of each semester and are not refundable. Dining dollars cannot be used in the laundry machines, vending machines, copier machines, bookstore or the off-campus merchants.
The meal plan begins on Wednesday and ends on Tuesday so you will have Wednesday through Tuesday to use your XX meals per week (XX determined by the plan that is purchased). Any unused meals will be relinquished at the end of each week. Only one swipe per meal period is allowed.
Meal plans can only be changed during the first two weeks of school. No changes will be accepted after that date. The last day to make a meal plan changes for the Spring semester is January 30, 2007.
Meal plans are refunded based on the following schedule for the Spring semester:
Complete withdrawal prior to 01/16/2007 100% *
From 01/16/2007 through 01/20/2007 80%
From 01/21/2007 through 01/26/2007 70%
From 01/27/2007 through 02/01/2007 50%
From 02/02/2007 through 02/07/2007 25%
After 02/07/2007 No Refund
Example of meal plan refund:
Student has paid $1225.00 + tax of $101.06 for the Lincoln meal plan. This student completely withdraws on 1/28/06 which is in the 50% refund period. The meal plan refund is calculated as follows:
$1326.06 Total paid at registration
X 50%
$ 663.03 Amount to be refunded as of 1/28/06
