Registration and access to make schedule changes via the myUTTyler (POPS) Portal ends at 4 p.m. on the regular registration day for each semester.

To make a schedule change (drop a class, add a class or withdraw from school) after the 4 p.m. deadline, students should present their request in writing to the Registrar’s Office (ADM 221). If the student is unable to personally come to the office, then a signed fax request is acceptable. The fax should include the course change request(s), the student ID, the student name, student signature and a daytime phone number. These requests should be faxed to (903) 565-5705. It is the student’s responsibility to follow-up with a phone call to (903) 566-7106 to verify that the fax has been received.
Undergraduate Transient Admission
After the student is admitted to UT Tyler, he or she should not register for any course(s) at any other institution until approval is granted. Approval by the student’s Advisor, Department Chair, Dean and the University Registrar is required to assure that the course taken at another institution will count toward the student’s degree. A student should not register at another institution until the request for undergraduate transient admission form has been completed and approved. Forms for this purpose are available in the Office of the Registrar, ADM 221 or may be downloaded from the Registrar's Office webpage.
