New Freshman Scholarship

New For 2018-19

New freshmen who are accepted for admission and confirm their intention for the intended academic year by March 1 will be considered for an academic scholarship. Scholarship funds are limited to students who apply for an entry term of fall or spring and are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Scholarship applications are not required. UT Tyler scholarship recipients are required to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each academic year.

All new freshman scholarships are renewable for three consecutive academic years following the initial award. No application is required for renewal.
