Hello my name is Joshua "Jammer" Smith. When I was a freshman I hated the subject, but it was through SI that I began to appreciate the subject and by the second semester I thought biology, out of all the sciences I could have taken, was the one I would have no problem taking should I wish to pursue it. There's nothing like studying how life works, to make you appreciate the tiny things you ignore in your day to day life, whether it is bees congregating around the lid of a trash bin, or even just marveling at process of breathing. Biology rules.
