Matt Carey

 My name is Matthew Carey. I am the SI Leader for ECON 2302. I am a Finance major and Economics minor. I became an SI Leader for the same reason that I became an economics minor. I am passionate about economics and the role it plays in each of our lives. I love to teach and assist others in increasing their economic understanding and financial literacy.

I am a father of two amazing sons, and have been married for over 7 years. I currently have a career as a Financial Advisor and love the opportunity it gives me to educate others on how to create a successful financial plan. Along with everything else, I still attend college full-time, so I can completely relate to those of you with a hectic schedule.

Please come and see me anytime during SI or stop me in the hall if you would like, I am always more than happy to help!
