Student Learning Communities
Explore Your Interests With UT Tyler Peers
By joining a Student Learning Community, you will explore your interests and experience The University of Texas at Tyler with a close-knit group of students and faculty during your first semester of college.
UT Tyler Student Learning Communities bring together small groups of students, faculty or staff mentors, and an upper class peer mentor to explore a common topic of interest. Communities are offered in a variety of academic and interest areas and create a supportive environment, bringing together students and mentors with the common goal of promoting academic and social success.
- Want to get to know other students who are interested in some of the same things you are.
- Want to find friendly classmates with whom you can study for quizzes and exams.
