TEXAS ALPHA XI CHAPTER OF ALPHA CHI NATIONAL SCHOLASTIC HONOR SOCIETY

OUTSTANDING FACULTY AWARD

Since 1990, Texas Alpha Xi has been giving an award for the Outstanding Faculty Member from each of the academic colleges. The purpose of this award is two-fold. First and foremost is the recognition of teaching excellence and compassion for students. Secondly, the award is a means to raise the profile of this society while at the same time involving the faculty in a celebration of student achievement. Winners are recognized at the annual induction ceremony, and their names are permanently displayed on a plaque hung in the HPR building.
