"Tea Set"

Porcelain, Wood and Reduction Fired, 11" x 20" x 12"

"I turn to pots out of my own isolation, and my desire to grow and change. Through pottery, I discover people and societies, past and present, known and unknown. Pots often take after their makers.

Through my work I discover myself. It is easier to see the strengths and flaws in my pottery than in my life, but the two are inseparable. I believe that by working to improve my pots and myself, my best work will one day seem as natural as clay, air, fire and water."
