You must be a U.T. Tyler student or applicant in order to take a CLEP exam at this institution.
To register for an exam, pay a $20 proctor fee in the Cashier's Office. Then, bring the receipt
to the Student Services Office (UC 282) to make an appointment for testing. CLEP charges a
fee of $70 per exam. If paying by check or money order, please submit to the Student Services Office with your application. Payment by credit or debit card may be made on the day of the test. If you are taking an exam with an essay portion, the essay portion is administered on a separate date, and there is an additional $20 fee to be paid in the Cashier's Office before your test date. Testing will be done on a computer and will take approximately two hours. CLEP exams are administered in the Student Services Office (UC 282) and begin at 8:30 a.m. Please bring two forms of identification with you. One must be a driver's license with picture.
