EDBE 5338: Science, Math, and Social Studies in Bilingual Education
Study of methods and materials appropriate for teaching content areas
in the language of the target population. Content includes development of vocabulary for
instruction in Spanish, construction of lesson plans in the target language and
implementation of appropriate strategies in field activities. Course fee required.
EDBE 5376: Reading and Language Arts in Bilingual Education
Study of practical and theoretical approaches to providing effective
reading and language arts programs to limited English proficient students, including dual
language instruction. Course fee required.
