Dependency Manager

The Dependency manager is a feature that manages linking among internal files. It is used to help preserve the integrity of links to content maintained in OU Campus. Dependency Manager maintains the correct link association when files or directories are moved or renamed.

Links will continue to be inserted using the WYSIWYG Editor. Once the appropriate page is selected, the Dependency tag will appear instead of the page path. The path will now be displayed underneath the dependency tag:

{{f:####}} — File/Page tag
{{a:####}} — Asset tag
{{s:####}} — S-tag

Additional Information

• Only links within OU Campus are managed by the Dependency Manager, not external sources.
• Dependency Manager's links are case sensitive.
• The Dependency tag will appear as a tag in the HTML source, regardless of how the source is viewed.
• Dependency tags cannot be added to Assets. If a link is in an Asset, the link will need to be updated manually upon moving/changing links.
