In addition, to our innovative offerings, the University is committed to service learning and community service. Whether it is through the use of technology, instruction, curriculum, or partnerships with area businesses and organizations the University provides students with real, relevant and meaningful educational experiences. Many opportunities exist to apply the knowledge acquired in classes to real world situations.

The faculty at UT Tyler have received their degrees from some of the leading international and national universities. Many faculty are engaged in cutting-edge research in their respective disciplines, which provides unique opportunities for students to become involved.
