Curriculum

Clinical Base / Intern Year

Our Anesthesiology residents' intern year is divided into thirteen (13) blocks consisting of four (4) weeks in each block in alignment with our Internal Medicine program scheduling. Clinical duties are primarily at UT Health East Texas Tyler Midtown hospital with some rotations occurring at UT Health East Texas North Campus Tyler and Precision Spine Care in Tyler.

Cardiology (Inpatient Consult Service) 1
Critical/Intensive Care (CVICU, MICU, SICU, Neuro/NSICU)

1.5 = Days
0.5 = Nights

CA-1/PGY-2 Schedule Outline

Our ANesthesiology residents' CA years are divided into rotations by calendar month. The first 6 months of CA-1 year consist of General OR. All clinical duties during CA-1 year are located at the UT Health East Texas Tyler Midtown hospital.
