Welcome

Welcome to the Interventional Cardiology fellowship at University of Texas Tyler School of
Medicine! In July 2026 our training program will welcome its first class of fellows!

Our mission is to advance the field of interventional cardiology through excellence in
patient care, innovative research, and comprehensive education. We are dedicated to
fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment, empowering our trainees to become
skilled, compassionate leaders in cardiovascular medicine. We prioritize collaboration,
continuous improvement, and a patient-centered approach, ensuring that our program not
only enhances individual career trajectories but also addresses health care disparities in
our communities. Together, we strive to make a meaningful impact on cardiovascular
health across diverse populations.
