Wiley Roosth, MD Endowed Teaching Award
PURPOSE
The Sam Roosth Foundation established the Wiley Roosth, MD Endowed Teaching Award to recognize the top physician in the clinical precepting of students.
ELIGIBILITY
Faculty must serve as a preceptor of UT Tyler School of Medicine students during their clinical rotations and be a member of the Department of Family Medicine.
CRITERIA
The preceptor will be selected based on student evaluations.
AWARD
Review and recommendations will be made by the Chair of the Department of Family Medicine, with final decision by the Dean. The recipient will receive a $1,500 monetary stipend and a commemorative award.
