As a Youth Aware of Mental Health (YAM) Facilitator, Ramona actively supports youth mental health initiatives. Committed to promoting mental well-being, she provides vital resources to help young people understand and navigate mental health challenges.

Ramona brings a solid foundation in human resource development to the YAM team and holds a master’s degree in human services with a specialization in child and family community services. She earned her bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at Tyler and her master’s from Purdue Global University. Her expertise in mental health and child and family services fuels her passion for making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and communities alike.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Ramona enjoys walking, watching sports, spending quality time with her family, and watching movies. Her personal interests exemplify her commitment to maintaining balance and well-being, which complements her dedication to mental health advocacy.
