Completing a bachelor’s degree in political science at The University of Texas at Tyler is excellent preparation for careers in law, political analysis, teaching, or working in local, state or federal government. Political science majors often enter law school, choose careers in international relations and or become teachers. Graduates of the program are teaching at Trinity Valley Community College, Kilgore College and other colleges in Texas.
