 Creating a New Student Account

Student access requires faculty/staff approval to launch created surveys. Faculty/staff may email aie@uttyler.edu to request access for a student. Student accounts must be renewed annually at the beginning of each fall semester. Follow the steps below to set up an account*:

  1. "Create an Account" on the Qualtrics Login Page.
  2. Enter your UT Tyler Patriots email address. You do not need an access code; click "Sign Me Up."
  3. A verification email is sent to your email address. Please verify your email. You will then be able to set up a password.
  4. Email aie@uttyler.edu requesting access. Remember, student accounts do require faculty/staff approval by email to the AIE Office.

Qualtrics Technical Support

Qualtrics Basecamp is an excellent resource that provides helpful articles, video tutorials, webinars and online training sessions.

Qualtrics introduced a new support request form to resolve issues faster and provide access to the chat support tool. Try out the new link yourself via the "Help" tab in the survey platform or at qualtrics.com/support.

Guidelines for Creating Effective Surveys

Assessment often includes collecting direct and indirect information to provide a more in-depth analysis of program or unit effectiveness. Qualtrics has published guide to writing effective survey questions.
