Research and Education

The CEBC and the Department of Biology are dedicated to high quality, high impact research and rigorous education of both undergraduate and graduate students. A variety of research projects are currently underway. Our faculty continue to expand existing research projects, and are on the lookout for new projects and species that require immediate attention.

Undergraduate students are encouraged to participate in research projects with faculty on their areas of interest. All M.S. students undertake original laboratory and/or field research as a part of their thesis. A variety of undergraduate and graduate courses are offered to educate the students on the basics of ecology, evolution and conservation.
