2017 Retail Summit
The University of Texas at Tyler Center for Retail Enterprises and the Center for Consumer Cybersecurity held the seventh annual Retail Summit on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017 at the Ornelas Activity Center. Featured guest speaker was R. David Mahon, chief security officer for CenturyLink, Inc. Mahon discussed emerging trends and new technologies in cybersecurity for retail and services.
A bonus panel discussion immediately followed the retail summit and lunch. The panel consisted of R. David Mahon, AJ Burns, assistant professor of computer science, and Paula Anthony, VP and CIO at ETMC. The topic was Avoid Being Tomorrow's Headline: Securing Data in Your Organization.

2016 Retail Summit
The University of Texas at Tyler Center for Retail Enterprises held it's sixth annual Retail Summit on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at the Ornelas Activity Center. Featured guest speaker was David Bishop, managing partner of Balvor LLC and Segment Leader at Brick Meets Click.
The Center for Retail Enterprises also partnered with the Longview Chamber of Commerce and held a second Retail Summit on Friday, Feb. 26, 2016, at Pinecrest Country Club in Longview. Featured guest speaker was Stepp Stevens Sydnor, founder of Stepp Sydnor Training Solutions and author of Survive or Thrive.
2015 Retail Summit
The University of Texas at Tyler Center for Retail Enterprises and Tyler Junior College held the 2015 Retail Summit in April. The event featured a first ever panel discussion with retailer, industry and technology perspectives.
2014 Retail Summit
The 2014 Retail Summit and Training Sessions were a huge success. Guest speakers Richard Dorough and Robert Wallace of PricewaterhouseCoopers discussed Cybercrime in the Retail Industry.
