Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems-Admission Requirements

Upon a student’s admission to the Computer Information Systems major, an academic advisor will be assigned to work with the student in planning a program to complete the degree requirements.  Students are encouraged to meet with their academic advisor throughout the semester and prior to registering for the next semester.  Students must complete the University Core, the Pre-Business Core, and the Business Core for graduation.

Transfer Students should complete the following lower division courses to meet prerequisites for Junior and Senior level courses. This course listing uses Texas Common Core Number and Title and should only be used by students who will transfer to the computer information systems program.  Please contact us if your institution does not offer these courses and an advisor will assist you in finding equivalent courses.
