• Synthesis, isolation and characterization of rare examples of nickel complexes containing a mixed thiolate/imidazole ligand set as models of nickel containing biomolecules.

Analytical techniques: advanced skills in 1H, 13C, 11B, 19F, 119Sn NMR spectroscopy, IR, UV-Vis, mass spectrometry and fluorescence spectroscopy.
Software/Computer: Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher, Blackboard, Canvas.
Chemical software: ChemBioDraw, ISIS Draw and SciFinder Scholar.
