Dr. Ali Ghorshi joined as a senior lecturer in the Department of Electrical Engineering at UT Tyler in Fall 2018. He earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Brunel University London in 2007 and his B.Eng. in Electronic and Communications Engineering from the University of North London in 2002. Prior to joining UT Tyler, he spent 10 years in the School of Science and Engineering at Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, Iran as a faculty member and Head of the Digital Electronic and Information Technology Division.
Dr. Ghorshi has served as a reviewer of several journals: Elsevier Journal of Digital Signal Processing, Elsevier Journal of Computer and Speech Language, Springer Journals in Circuits & Systems, Springer Journals in Wireless Personal Communications, IET Image Processing Journal, Journal of China Communications, IEEE International Conference on Wireless Communications and Signal Processing (WCSP), and IEEE Canadian Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering (CCECE).
