Biography
Dr. Shih-Feng Chou received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
at National Chiao Tung University (Hsinchu City, Taiwan) in 2001. He was a graduate
research and teaching assistant from 2003 to 2006 in the Department of Mechanical
Engineering and Energy Processes at Southern Illinois University Carbondale (Carbondale
IL.) when he received his Master of Science degree in 2005. He received his Doctor
of Philosophy degree in Materials Engineering at Auburn University (Auburn AL.) in
2011. He then worked as a research associate at Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth
College (Hanover NH.) from 2012 to 2013. He later worked as a senior fellow in the
Department of Bioengineering at University of Washington (Seattle WA.) from 2014 to
2016. He joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering at The University of Texas
at Tyler as an assistant professor in September 2016.
