Biography


Dr. Tahsin Khajah received a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree from the Sharif University of Technology in Iran. He received the Doctor of Philosophy degree from Old Dominion University. He specialized in dynamics of structures and optimization for his Master's degree and in computational mechanics and Finite Elements, in particular Isogeometric Analysis, for his Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering.

He performed researches on modeling the radiation of electromagnetic field on image based hi-fidelity models of human brain. He worked in Old Dominion University as an Adjunct Faculty and Visiting Lecturer prior to joining University of Texas at Tyler as an Assistant Professor in the Fall semester of 2015. He has worked in industry for more than a decade as a design engineer.
