Biography

Dr. David Romerill has accrued over 30 years of experience in healthcare.  A native of Indiana, he served six years on active duty as a medic in the US Air Force after high school.  After the military, he worked in a variety of cardiovascular diagnostic settings and industry as a clinical training specialist which afforded opportunities to travel extensively nationally and internationally. 

A graduate of Butler University College of Pharmacy and Health Science in Indianapolis, Dr. Romerill completed a pharmacy practice residency at Eskenazi Health/Purdue University and a specialty residency in critical care at Houston Methodist, Texas Medical Center.  He has practiced as a clinical pharmacy specialist in both large, urban academic and small community rural intensive care units.  He was founding faculty at Husson University, the University of New England, and now Fisch College of Pharmacy.  He has been selected by students as Teach of The Year at both Husson University and The University of Texas at Tyler.

Professional interests include cardiac arrhythmias and hemodynamics, glucose control, and nutrition support in critically ill patients.  Personal interests include cooking, Butler basketball, and all levels of volleyball.
