Rosemary Cooper, PhD

Rosemary Cooper is the Executive Director of Career Success and Alumni Engagement at The University of Texas at Tyler. Rosemary oversees the areas of career success, alumni engagement, annual giving and University special events.
Prior to joining the Office of University Advancement in 2018, Rosemary was a part of the Enrollment Management team at UT Tyler serving as the Director of Enrollment Services and the Assistant Director of Financial Aid, Scholarships and Veterans Affairs, respectively.
She is a three-time alum of UT Tyler holding a bachelor’s degree in General Studies, a master’s degree in Public Administration and a Ph.D. in Human Resource Development with a specialization in organizational development and change.
Rosemary has worked in higher education for 20 years and her research interests include organizational leadership and strategic planning, shared services, and employee engagement. She has presented nationally on the topics of shared services and employee engagement.
Rosemary is an alum of Leadership Tyler Class 28 and is a member of a number of national organizations including the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). She also serves as an adjunct faculty member, in the Soules College of Business.
