Why did you choose to attend UT Tyler?

Reputation of longstanding faculty members and facilities.

What are your career goals and how does your graduate program support them?

I am currently the manager of Vogner Art Dealers which is a company that deals in private sales and purchases of art works for private clients. I am also a summer Adjunct Professor of ceramics at McMurry University in Abilene, TX and plan to pursue a full time faculty position at a small College or University along with being an artist and selling works. The program at UT Tyler has helped me gain experience in teaching and a knowledge of faculty expectations and responsibilities.

What do you like most about UT Tyler:

I like that the program is at a reputable university in a midsized city that is fairly isolated. The school has nice art facilities and a faculty with other helpful connections in art throughout the U.S.
