How will this scholarship help you?

The scholarship will help me achieve my goal of pursuing a Master of Science in Industrial Management as well as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification.

Why did you choose UT Tyler?

I chose UT Tyler because of the scope of the Industrial Management course work; I have developed a career in supply chain management and have been eagerly learning as much as I can about efficiency and Lean principles. This course offering is timely in today’s fast pace work environment and I’m excited to be developing a skillset that is so marketable around the world.

What is your goal after graduation?

I would like to continue my career working in the international energy industry. As I gain more skills, I would like to progress to a strategic role (either internally or externally) with the ability to analyze and enhance business processes and supply chain efficiencies within an organization. Using these skills I feel strongly that my work will make solid and positive impacts.
