Rewinding back in time to when I had to select a university where I wanted to further my education, a lot of factors were taken into account. Having analyzed all available options, the quality of education and the curriculum structure offered at UT Tyler coupled with the financial aid award allowed me to make UT Tyler my choice. The graduate advisors and staff in the university were friendly and responsive. Dr. Alecia Wolf and her team were really helpful in clarifying all questions I had and were persistent in following through the application process.

The student to professor ratio is ideal to make every learning experience more interactive and educational. There are multiple job opportunities available on campus that help meet expenses. Apart from an education and employment, students can also enjoy the following: dining, fitness, gaming or even sitting by the lake and socializing. Being an international student actively living and studying in Tyler, one thing I can say confidently from the bottom of my heart is that it feels like a home away from home.
