How will this scholarship help you?

This scholarship will allow me to focus on becoming the best counselor I can be instead of worrying about the financial burden of paying for school.

Why did you choose UT Tyler?

The main reason I chose to pursue graduate school at UT Tyler is the program at UT Tyler incorporates a lot of clinical experience in the mental health field. The extensive clinical experience will hopefully better prepare me for the counseling profession.

What is your goal after graduation?

When I graduate, I hope to use my master’s degree to help people navigate their struggles in life and learn to manage them. I fully believe that my time at UT Tyler will place me on the path to achieve this goal.
