The scholarship will help me to focus on pursuing my dream of becoming a professional counselor without some of the added financial stresses.

Why did you choose UT Tyler?

The main reason I chose to pursue graduate school at UT Tyler is because this school has an excellent program that I was interested in, as well as professors that are dedicated to helping their students be successful.

What is your goal after graduation?

When I graduate I want to work as a professional counselor with senior veterans.
