Why did you choose to attend UT Tyler?

I chose the EHCA program at UT Tyler because it focuses on healthcare professionals. As a hybrid online program, it gives me the opportunity to connect with my classmates during the intensive weeks, but allows flexibility to study while working full-time.

What are your career goals and how does your graduate program support them?

With my extensive background in dentistry, I hope to find an administrative or research position where I can help coordinate and integrate medical care and dental care. In the EHCA program I am learning how the complex operations of large healthcare systems and healthcare reform are transforming the scope of public health, and I will be able to incorporate my knowledge of small clinical settings so that patient care is more comprehensive and efficient.

What do you like most about UT Tyler?

I like UT Tyler because of the diversity of backgrounds of both students and professors, but yet it creates a small, intimate environment in which to learn and grow.
