Why did you choose to attend UT Tyler?

I chose to attend UT Tyler due to the prestigious background of the UT Tyler Executive MBA Healthcare Management program, convenience of the EMBA-HCM weekend cohort schedule, along with the convenience of the location in Tyler.

What are your career goals and how does your graduate program support them?

I am a practicing physician that is excited to learn to apply the business aspect of healthcare to my practice and ultimately be able to help other physicians make the leap between medicine and business. Medicine has become more business minded in this century and will continue to do so. Therefore, to gain the knowledge of business operations as they apply to my career from the Executive MBA Healthcare Management Program will equip me to be a better physician.

What do you like most about UT Tyler?

I love the new business school building and the concierge approach of the EMBA-HCM which makes earning my MBA attainable as a practicing physician. I also like the peaceful atmosphere around UT Tyler from the landscape to the architecture.
