UT Tyler Department of History
Students are encouraged to become involved in history organizations on campus.
Phi Alpha Theta
Students who have distinguished themselves in the field of history are eligible for induction into UT Tyler's Psi Alpha chapter of Phi Alpha Theta, the international history honorary society.
Walter Prescott Webb Historical Society
The Frank H. Smyrl chapter of the Walter Prescott Webb Historical Society is available for students, regardless of major or grade-point average, who have an interest in history.
