Office of Human Resources
Welcome to Spring 2017!
"UT Tyler has a tremendous reputation, and I can't wait to work with you as we grow both the scope and visibility of our university.'' - President Tidwell
All new employees must attend New Employee Orientation within their first week of employment, which your supervisor will schedule. Background check and electronic new hire documents should be submitted to HR prior to orientation. At orientation you will be required to present original documents from the List of Acceptable Documents in order to complete your I-9 (Employment Eligibility Verification).
This checklist will guide you through everything you will need to take care of your first day, first week and first month of employment at The University of Texas at Tyler.
Read about insurance, retirement, time off, and other benefits and services available to you.
