The 2015-16 UT Tyler parking permits are now available at the university police department, Chief Mike Medders, announced.

Permits are $48 each for students and employees and are good through Aug. 31, 2016. Permits are required to park on campus and can be picked up at any time. The police department is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Student Permits

Students may purchase their permits online through their myUTTyler account to avoid waiting in lines, or they may pay at the Enrollment Services Center. All students should make sure that there are no outstanding, unpaid citations in order to purchase a permit.

Bring student ID and paid receipt to the university police department, located in the University Services Center, room 125. For added convenience, the department also will issue student permits 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Aug. 20-21 and Aug. 24-25 at the Welcome Center, which is located in the UT Tyler James H. Stewart, Jr. Administration Building, room 202.

Employee Permits

Faculty and staff may have the permit fee deducted from their paycheck by submitting a payroll deduction form. All full-time and part-time employees must be clear of any police holds or outstanding citations in order to receive a new permit.
