UT Tyler will hold 2015 Patriot Palooza Aug. 24 – 29, Ona Tolliver, assistant vice president for student affairs and dean of students, announced.

Patriot Palooza is UT Tyler’s annual welcome week and provides all students with free food, concerts, movies and other social activities.

UT Tyler 2015 Patriot Palooza events include:

Monday, Aug. 24

• Noon – 2 p.m. Harvey Lake Deck: Back to School Barbecue Bash featuring live music by Attic Wolves

• 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. University Center Patio: Swoopstation – annual student organization showcase

Tuesday, Aug. 25

• Noon – 1:30 p.m. Sports Café: Comedy featuring Alingon Mitra

• 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. UC Patio: Block Party and Poker Tournament

Wednesday, Aug. 26

• 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. UC Patio: Meet the Greeks

• 1 – 2 p.m. Met Café: CAB Bingo

• 6:30 – 9 p.m. Harvey Lake Deck: Endless Summer Bash featuring the Phillip Fox Band

Thursday, Aug. 27

• 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. UC Lobby: VIP Bookstore Bingo

• 4 – 6 p.m. Sports Café: International Game Night

• 6 – 10 p.m. Sports Café: Super Smash Bros. Tournament

Friday, Aug. 28

• 7:30 – 10:30 p.m. Herrington Patriot Center Pool: Pool Party
