The UT Tyler Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning will hold a Teaching Town Hall meeting for university faculty and instructional staff, Dr. Julie Delello, center director, announced.

"Team-Based Learning/Project-Based Learning" will be 10 – 11:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 27 in UT Tyler W. T. Brookshire Hall, room 234. Registration is open.

"Team-Based Learning (TBL) and Project-Based Learning (PBL) are teaching strategies that promote active and collaborative learning within groups," Delello said. "This workshop presentation is intended to illustrate how the elements of engagement, critical thinking, collaboration, reflective thinking and authentic problem solving can be incorporated into the classroom experience."

The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning is dedicated to the advancement of best practices in teaching and learning at UT Tyler.
