The University of Texas at Tyler announced today that Shelby Domingue of De Kalb was awarded a scholarship to attend the UT Tyler Ben and Maytee Fisch College of Pharmacy.

Domingue is the recipient of a Dean's Fellow Scholarship Award for $15,000 and will enter Fisch College in the fall of 2019.

Dean's Fellow Scholarship recipients are selected by an awards committee based on outstanding admission applications and interviews.

Recipients of the scholarship also are invited to join the Dean's Fellowship Program. The invitation-only fellowship includes expanded programming in leadership, academia, research and information technology, culminating in a major project in the third year of studies. Participants who complete the fellowship receive the designation of Dean's Fellow at graduation.
