UT Tyler Announces Soules College of Business Scholars

The University of Texas at Tyler announced today that five students have been awarded Soules College of Business scholarships for fall 2020.

The UT Tyler Soules Scholars program is part of a gift from the John Soules family to help enhance the quality and quantity of business leaders produced by UT Tyler.

The gift, the largest single private contribution to UT Tyler in its history, supports student success, business innovation grants and research.

“Our students are the beneficiaries of the foresight and generosity of the Soules family who have made a lasting investment in UT Tyler and East Texas. Soules scholars are future business leaders whose innovation will help enrich the region’s economy,” said UT Tyler President Michael Tidwell.

Soules scholars by hometown and major are:

HENDERSON – Riordan Cian Brown, computer science.

KATY – Isaac Dee Peterson, accounting.

KELLER – Connor Christian Worsham, marketing.

SULPHUR SPRINGS – Elisha Hunter Sellers, management.

MISSOURI – Hyatt Shane Hines, finance.
