New F-1 Student Online Check-In

All new and transfer international students are required to confirm their arrival to the United States, provide their U.S. address and phone information in order to activate their F-1/J-1 SEVIS records.

After your arrival in the United States, you must do the following:

• Complete the Check-In Form below. 
  • You will upload a copy of your visa, I-94 Arrival Record or I-797 (for change of status students).
  • Enter your U.S. address and phone number
  • You will provide your U.S. local address (within the Tyler area) and U.S. phone number. Temporary or short-term addresses are accepted.

• What's my deadline to complete these steps?
  Please do this as soon as possible after arrival to the United States, but no more than 30 days prior to your I-20/DS-2019 start date. 

  Students should complete this process before the first day of class or I-20/DS-2019 Program Start Date.

• Failure to complete these processes by the deadline may result in a negative termination of your U.S. visa status. If you are having trouble completing this process, please visit our office.
