Duplicate and Replacement Diplomas

To order duplicate or replacement diplomas, students must complete the Diploma Reorder Form. The form is available at the One-Stop Service Center (STE 230) and in our Forms Library.

A $25 replacement diploma fee is required for each diploma requested. This fee may be paid in the One-Stop Service Center (STE 230). Once the fee has been paid, students must submit proof of payment along with the completed Diploma Reorder Form to the One-Stop Service Center. Please allow six to eight weeks for delivery; holidays may increase this time.

Note: If the fee is not paid in person, please request that the Cashier's Office submit a copy of the receipt to the Office of the Registrar. The Office of the Registrar will not be notified of your payment, and will therefore be unable to process your request, if this step is omitted.

Students may order replacement diplomas with names other than the legal name appearing on their official University records and documents.

Please be aware that duplicate and replacement diplomas will be ordered using current formatting and official names/signatures, so they may not exactly match previous diplomas.

Effective Fall 2010 major fields of study began being listed on diplomas; this information did not appear on diplomas ordered prior to that term.

Effective April 2018, all UT Tyler diplomas measure 8 1/2"  x 11". All reprints of diplomas issued prior to Spring 2018 will be in the 8 1/2" x 11" format; prints in the legacy 11" x 14" format are no longer available.

Students are responsible for the completeness of information on their Reorder forms and any special requests must be made clear. An 'additional notes' area is provided to accommodate this.

Orders for duplicate and replacement diplomas are placed every other week.

All diplomas are shipped exclusively via USPS first class mail. Students who do not wish to have their diplomas mailed via USPS may either pick up their diplomas in person at the Enrollment Services Center (ADM 230) or arrange for a designee to pick them up on their behalf.
